Russell Pecoraro, M.D. is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and one of the only full-time retina specialists in Clay County. Clay Eye has established The Northeast Florida Macular Degeneration and Diabetes Eye Institute, the first full-time center in Clay County dedicated to diseases of the retina. Dr. Pecoraro’s special interests include macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, inflammatory diseases of the eye, retinal holes, breaks, tears, or detachment, flashes and floaters, laser treatment of the retina, and medical, surgical management of glaucoma and laser cataract surgery.
